Our Florida Association of REALTORS and the Florida BAR Association just recently released new versions of the real estate contracts commonly used here on the Island (and across the State). Unless you have purchased a Florida property within the last few weeks, there are many changes that you are not aware of. Our basic four page contract is now eleven pages, and contains new protective language for buyers, sellers, and agents. Supplemental forms to this contract have all been changed and updated as well. I am making appointments now to go over the new contracts and answer questions. You may reserve an appointment by leaving a message on my phone or e-mail and I will confirm the time with you. Several appointment times are open for tomorrow (Friday, August 20) and also on the following two Tuesdays (August 24 and August 31). I would also be happy to send a blank contract to you for your attorney's review.
