News for the Week of April 2, 2010

Just a few new Boca Grande listings to report this week. Now is a perfect time to visit the island. Many of the flowering shrubs and trees are in fragrant bloom, and the sunny low-80-degree weather couldn't be more perfect for visiting the white sugar sand beach. The water is hundreds of clear shades of aqua and navy, and there is not a cloud in the sky right now.

Boca Grande Shores #10 (was $1,850,000) now $1,799,500 (-$50,500)

Closings on Gasparilla Island
Island House #2 (listed for $2,495,000) sold 3/31 for $2,000,000
Note that several concessions were made on this sale (for example, allowing the sellers to use the home for several months until their new home is completed) and should be taken into account with the sale price.
